Brentwood March 8 residential burglary

Brentwood Police are investigating a residential burglary after a safe was stolen from a home on the morning of March 8.

According to BPD Assistant Chief Jim Colvin, three unidentified "hispanic males" were recorded on security cameras forcing their way into a rear window of a Stillbrook Trail home.

Those three suspects stole a black 3-foot-by-2-foot safe containing jewelry and cash. The exact value of the stolen items has not been released by police, and police are not sure about the ages of the suspects.

One of the suspects was wearing a reflective orange vest while another was wearing a blue Amazon employee vest as they loaded the safe into a black Kia Optima which had a partially covered temporary license plate.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the burglary, and police do not believe that the suspects were armed.
