Franklin Theatre at night

We're back with another preview of next month's slate of movies at The Franklin Theatre. Once again, they have compiled a collection of favorites to show during April.

Beginning on April 4, you can hold your very own Heath Ledger doubleheader with showings of the Shakespeare-inspired teen rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You at 6 p.m. and medieval action-comedy A Knight's Tale at 9 p.m.

The Saturday Morning Cartoons! series returns on April 6 and 13 with Disney classics The Lion King (also Shakespeare-inspired!) and Cinderella. Both movies are set to begin at 11 a.m.

On April 12, The Movie Gang is back with a presentation of one of the greatest, most influential films in Hollywood history - 1939's The Wizard of Oz.

On April 21, Sci-Fi Sundays will feature Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones' top-notch comedic chemistry in Men in Black. Both Oz and Men in Black will screen at 7 p.m.

A new series will debut on April 24 - Witherspoon Wednesdays in honor of Oscar-winning Middle Tennessee resident Reese Witherspoon. The first film in the new series will be 2001 legal comedy Legally Blonde.
