Lisa Nease, a Brentwood High School business teacher, is the 2018 recipient of the Tennessee DECA Honorary Life Membership Award.
The award is considered one of the most prestigious honors that a Tennessee marketing teacher can receive.
DECA is a program in high schools and colleges for teachers and students of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service.
Lifetime Membership Award nominees must have a minimum of 15 years of service in marketing education and DECA. They do not have to be currently teaching. Honorary Life nominees may be nominated by any marketing teacher who submits the nomination form. Current Honorary Life members will vote. The Honorary Life Award is presented during the Awards Ceremony at the Tennessee DECA State Career Development Conference.
The state conference program always lists all of the Tennessee DECA Honorary Life members. This award recognizes the ultimate service rendered to the marketing profession.
