Adult Summer Basketball Leagues begin play in June at Academy Park

WILLIAMSON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION

The Athletics Division of Williamson County Parks and Recreation is now registering for Adult Summer Basketball Leagues at the Academy Park Gymnasium, 120 Everbright St., Franklin. Don’t have a team? Register as a free agent, and a team will be formed from individual registrants.

A D2 League for high school or recreational skill set players will play on Tuesday evenings beginning June 4.

A maximum of 16 teams will be accepted. The league fee is $485 per team, and registration is available online at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code #13842. Free agent registration is $55. Registration code #14758.

A 35+ League will play on Thursday evenings beginning June 6. All players must be 35 years or older by June 1, 2019. A maximum of 10 teams will be accepted. A D1/D2 League will play on Sunday afternoons beginning June 2. A maximum of 10 teams per division (D1 & D2) will be accepted. D1 is the most competitive division; D2 is more recreational based. All leagues will be a round robin format. Teams will play eight regular season games and conclude with a single elimination tournament.
