Caroline Clemmer, daughter of Carrie and Bobby Clemmer, is a sophomore at Brentwood Academy and this week’s Kerr & Co. Realty Athlete of the Week.
She is a member of the Varsity Softball Team and plays the position of short stop. She said this season, she is proud to be able to say she’s made big improvements in her fielding.
She started playing softball when she was eight years old in a local rec league.
When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “I feel that God wants me to be the best that I can be in whatever I do, so I give it my all.”
Clemmer’s biggest role models are her parents and her softball coaches. She said of her parents, “… they teach me to do my best and strive for greatness… they don’t only say this, they lead by example.”
She said that her coaches always push her to give it her all.
She describes herself as energetic, driven, competitive and adventurous. When she’s not on the field, she enjoys painting, drawing, crafts, and playing basketball.
As she is only a sophomore, she is currently undecided on collegiate plans.
