Davis Westbrook, son of Amy and Bennett Westbrook, is a senior at Brentwood High School and a member of the Bowling Team.
He started bowling with his Younglife group and said he originally would make bets with his friends “to keep it interesting.” After a while, he thought it was time to join the official team.
When asked what inspires him to train and compete he said, “I love bowling a lot,” adding that he really wants to score a 300.
One of his biggest role models is two-handed bowler Jason Belmonte.
“[He] showed the world two-handed bowling is cool,” Westbrook said, adding that he himself also bowls with two hands.
When he’s not bowling, Westbrook enjoys playing lacrosse and the video game Red Dead Redemption 2.
After graduating this spring, he plans to attend college, though he is currently undecided on his school of choice.
