Tori Carpenter, daughter of Mindy and Shan Carpenter, is a senior at Brentwood High School and a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team.
She plays the position of setter for the team and achieved No. 6 in the nation for assists.
Carpenter started playing rec volleyball when she was in fourth grade. She played for the now Assistant Volleyball Coach at BHS, Cathy Cram.
When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “I love becoming better in different aspects of the game. I love to play and win and I am very competitive. I want to be the best I can be and be successful.”
One of her biggest role models is her mother, Mindy. She said her constant motivation to be better is one of the main reasons she respects and looks up to her.
When she’s not on the court, Carpenter said her favorite thing to do is spend time with her friends.
After graduating from BHS, she plans to play volleyball at The College of Charleston on a full-ride scholarship.
