Tank Starr, son of James and Susanne Starr, is a senior at Brentwood High School and a member of the Varsity Football Team.
He plays the position of defensive end and offensive guard. He said his biggest highlight for the season was a scoop and score against Stewart’s Creek.
Starr started playing football for the Brentwood Blaze when he was in the fifth grade and has loved it ever since.
When asked what inspires him to train and compete he said it’s all about getting to the next level.
His biggest role model is his coach, Coach E. Starr said, “He inspires me to be a better person on and off the field.”
When he’s not on the football field, Starr can be found on the wrestling mat. He also said he enjoys trying new foods when he’s not competing.
Head Football Coach Ron Crawford said of him, “Tank is a two-way lineman that played the last four games injured. He has been a three-year starter and a huge contributor to the improvement of our program.”
After graduating from BHS this year, he plans to go to college to pursue a degree in Sport’s Management.
