Brian Garcia, son of Angela and Chris Garcia, is a senior at Ravenwood High School and a member of the Varsity Football Team. He plays the position of quarterback for the team.
In the first two games of the season, Garcia completed the first two plays, both of which were touchdowns.
Garcia credits his father for his interest in the sport and the reason he began playing.
When asked what inspires him to continue training and competing he said, “My family and making a name for myself.”
RHS Head Football Coach Matt Daniels said of Garcia, “During the first two weeks of the season, the senior captain has accounted for 400 yards of total offense, four passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown in helping the Raptors to a 2-0 start.”
His two biggest role models are his mother and father. He said he admires him for all that the do for him and others.
Outside of football, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Garcia said he is currently undecided on his future and collegiate plans.
