Lindsey Siebe, daughter of Meghan and Lonnie Siebe, is this week’s Kerr & Co Realty female Athlete of the Week.
She is a senior at Ravenwood High School and a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team.
She said her biggest highlights of the season have been cheering at the Battle of the Woods playoff game and achieving 2018 All-State Cheerleader.
She started cheering with the Brentwood Blaze when she was in kindergarten and said she’s been doing it ever since.
When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “The girls who I teach gymnastics to because they look up to me and get very excited to see me cheer.”
One of her biggest role models and inspirations is her boss, Tim Richards. “He gives our gym lots of energy and comes up with innovative activities.”
Head Cheer Coach at RHS, Celia Cagle, said of Siebe, “Lindsey is a senior this year and has shown incredible leadership with the transition into basketball season. She has offered her spare time to come in and work with the new basketball cheerleaders to help prepare them for games. She has a great attitude and is always willing to do whatever is needed to help our squad. She leads by example in the classroom and on the sidelines.”
Outside of cheer, she enjoys coaching gymnastics, reading and watching movies.
After graduating from RHS this spring, she is planning to go to college to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
