Avery Fallon, daughter of Erin and David Fallon, is this week’s Kerr & Co. Realty Athlete of the Week.
She is a senior at Ravenwood High School and a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team. She holds the position of flyer on the team. When thinking of her accomplishments with the team, she said being named State Champions for the sixth year is the biggest highlight.
She started cheering when she was in seventh grade as a way to branch out from tumbling. She said she was eager to try something new.
When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “My teammates inspire me to push myself and we all motivate each other to be the best we can.
One of her biggest role models is her cheer coach, Barbee Morgan. She said she does it all: “cheer coach, cheer mom, and friend to the team.”
Fallon describes herself as dedicated, hardworking and supportive.
Her coaches, Stephanie Dykes and Barbee Morgan, said of her: Avery Fallon is a wonderful cheerleader who always has a positive attitude and gives 100%. She is a natural leader and has been versatile with her positions of flyer and base depending on the needs of the squad. Avery is very deserving of Athlete of the Week.
Outside of cheer, she enjoys doing photography and playing guitar.
After graduating from RHS, she plans to continue cheering at Miami University. She one day hopes to become an orthodontist.
