BASKETBALL: GCA’s Scott hits 1,000 points, BGA bests MTCS

Below are results of basketball games over the last few days in Williamson County. 

GCA’s Scott hits 1,000 points, Lady Lions get win

Grace Christian Academy’s Cole Scott hit a career milestone Tuesday night in the team’s 74-30 win over STEM Prep.

The senior’s game-leading 27 points got him over the 1,000 mark for his career.

Junior sharp shooter Mason McKnatt had 14 in the victory as well as he gets closer to hitting 2,000 points.

The Lady Lions defeated STEM 66-16, with Anna Smith leading with 23 points and six assists.

Audrey Sanders chipped in with 10 points.

BGA sweeps MTCS 

Both Battle Ground Academy teams earned victories Tuesday against MTCS.

The Wildcats bested their rivals 70-54, with D-1 football prospect Nick Semptimphelter and Evan Gaunt both tallying 13 each in the win.

Ella Rose Gallimore (13) and Kearstyn Seay (11) helped power the Lady Wildcats to a 42-36 victory over MTCS.

FRA ladies get victory over PCA 

The Franklin Road Academy Lady Panthers came up big Tuesday in a 57-43 victory over PCA.

Macie Medes led the team with 26 points, while Ryan Pierce added 10.
