Brentwood High School

The Brentwood High football team has its third coach in three seasons on the heels of a 10-year tenure, and one of the biggest changes this fall will be the way the Bruins throw the ball all over the yard.

Ravenwood High School

Ravenwood ended the season with a big finish, and the Raptors hope another coaching change will help rejuvenate the program which made back-to-back state finals in the past decade.

Brentwood Academy

Brentwood Academy sent six players to Division I football programs this season but has plenty of talent left in the cupboards to contend for a championship despite a young team and a rugged road schedule.

Christ Presbyterian Academy

CPA has made it one game away from playing for a state football title the past two seasons and has two SEC commits, but has some other big shoes to fill and a tougher regular-season schedule.

Centennial High School

The Centennial Cougars step up into Class 6A football in trying to qualify for the 2013 postseason, after two consecutive second-round playoff berths at the 5A level.

Franklin High School

The Franklin High Rebels missed the playoffs in 2012, but they have a number of hungry upperclassmen poised to make a return to the postseason this year.

Independence High School

Independence new head football coach Scott Blade inherited three Southeastern Conference recruits but also one of the smallest squads in recent years as the Eagles try to make their third straight postseason.

Page High School

The Page Patriots will wrestle with youth in 2013 after reaching the second round of the 4A playoffs a year ago, but still boast one of the top quarterbacks in the area.

Battle Ground Academy

In 2013 Battle Ground Academy will move down to Division II-A due to enrollment considerations and looks to make a deeper postseason run after falling in the DII-AA first round a year ago.

Summit High School

The county’s newest high school, Summit, has had an uphill climb already starting a varsity football program when the school opened with just freshmen and sophomores two years ago. The challenge doesn’t stop there.
