Brentwood High School’s forensic team won the NFL Congress Sweepstakes plaque and the Lamar Alexander Cup for Outstanding Congressional Delegation at the Tennessee NFL National Qualifying Congress at MBA recently.


Zoorob, Carmody headed to National Student Congress next month

Brentwood High School’s forensic team won the NFL Congress Sweepstakes plaque and the Lamar Alexander Cup for Outstanding Congressional Delegation at the Tennessee NFL National Qualifying Congress at MBA recently.

Michael Zoorob won first place in the Senate and McKenzie Carmody captured first place in the House to qualify to compete at the John C. Stennis National Student Congress to be held in Indianapolis in June.

Natalie Bennie placed second in the House and was elected as a presiding officer.

Rebekah Ninan was also elected as a presiding officer for the House.
