Brentwood celebrates the history of the city’s first responders on Saturday

CITY OF BRENTWOOD

The Brentwood Historic Commission and the City of Brentwood are hosting an event celebrating the history of the city’s first responders.

The event will feature a panel of people from Brentwood Fire and Rescue and the Brentwood Police Department. Speakers will tell stories about how emergency services have changed over the years, as well as a story about arresting country star George Jones. The event is free and open to the public.

When: Saturday, September 15, 2018

12:30 p.m. – Live Music by Tyler Braden, Brentwood Firefighter and singer-songwriter

1 p.m. – Panel discussion begins

Where: City Park lawn area

Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on the grass area in front of the Mooreland Mansion. In the event of rain, the event will be canceled.

The panel will feature Brentwood Fire Chief Brian Goss, Brentwood Battalion Chief Scott Ellis, former Brentwood Police Officer Tommy Campsey and current Brentwood Detective Lori Russ.
