CRIME REPORT: Truck, guns and jewelry stolen from two homes in Lansdowne subdivision

A truck was stolen from a Brentwood driveway and a home garage was broken into, both in the Lansdowne subdivision off of Concord Road, according to the latest crime report provided by the Brentwood Police Department. The report covers the week preceding Thursday, Feb. 22.

The truck theft occurred between about 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19 and 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The 2015 GMC Sierra was stolen from a driveway on the 1000 block of Wilshire Way.

The car was later recovered abandoned in Nashville, according to the report. Police have no suspects.

Guns and jewelry were stolen from the unlocked garage of a home just a few houses down from where the truck was stolen on the 1000 block of Wilshire Way. This crime is reported to have occurred between 11:30 p.m. the night of  Monday, Feb. 19 and 7 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Police have no suspects in connection with this crime.

Rounding out the crime report is a theft that occurred at the Best Buy located at 1600 Galleria Boulevard. On the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 14 an unknown suspect opened a credit account for a victim at the store and made fraudulent charges.

The suspect made fraudulent charges on the victim’s account in other cities in the Middle Tennessee area, according to the report.
