The Brentwood Farmers Market will kick off its second season on this Thursday, May 16 from 4-7 p.m. in the green space of City Park.
Market Manager Kasi Haire says this season’s market will feature 23 vendors on opening day with items like peaches, fresh produce, pork, chicken, turkey, wild-caught Alaskan seafood, baked goods, spices and more.
The market sets up in the grassy area at the end of Executive Center Boulevard, in front of 55 South. Haire is on the market’s Board of Directors and manages other farmers markets in the Williamson County area, including the Nolensville Farmers Market.
The Brentwood Farmers Market began in June 2018 as a producer-only market. Items featured last year include responsibly raised meats, fresh baked bread, free-range chicken eggs, local honey and handmade crafts. Haire says the market will run every Thursday, rain or shine, until Oct. 17.
