The Brentwood Board of Commissioners and members of city staff will host a day-long retreat to review the city’s proposed budget for FY 2020.

The meeting is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library.

City Manager Kirk Bednar told the Board of Commissioners Monday, May 13 at the City Commission meeting that the retreat would hopefully not truly be an all-day affair, noting it would likely be a “several hour” meeting.

“That is a public meeting and any members of the public are welcome to that,” Bednar said Monday.

The FY 2020 proposed budget — along with the budgets for previous years — is available to the public on the city’s website.

The John P. Holt Brentwood Library is located at 8109 Concord Road in Brentwood.
