Brentwood student athletes earn All-Academic Award at Columbia State

COLUMBIA STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Thirty Columbia State Community College student-athletes received the 2017-2018 TCCAA All-Academic Award, including two students from Brentwood.

Student-athletes earning the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association award are sophomores who have completed 48 hours of intercollegiate work with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and freshmen who had earned 24 hours with a 3.25 GPA or higher.

James McKee of Brentwood was a member of the Baseball team and is currently attending Trevecca University.

Zach Sharber of Brentwood was a member of the Baseball team and is currently attending Columbia State Community College.

Columbia State Community College is a two-year college serving a nine-county area in southern Middle Tennessee with five campuses, including Columbia, Williamson, Lawrence, Lewisburg and Clifton. Columbia State was established in 1966 as Tennessee’s first community college.
