Brentwood’s Tucker Day named punt champion at Chris Sailer Kicking camp

Brentwood High School punter Tucker Day was recently named punt champion at the Chris Sailer Kicking camp.

“Tucker is one of the most talented punters that I have ever worked with,” Chris Sailer, president of the camp, said. “He is a great athlete with an extremely explosive leg.

“Tucker shows the ability to hit huge balls. He is becoming more and more consistent in all aspects of his game each time we see him. He is a no-brainer scholarship pick.”

Day was among approximately 80 other participants from Florida, Mississippi, Tennesse, Alabama, Ohio, South Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia. Kickers and punters gathered at West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia to learn from the best and get the most exposure possible to college coaches.

It was the second year in a row Day took home the punting championship.

Chris Sailer Kicking is the top authority on kickers and punters in the country and has followers from all over the world attending in mass to the sought-after camps and events offered across the country. Last year alone, Chris Sailer Kicking had over 100 specialists move onto play major college football around the country and has multiple kickers and punters in the NFL.

According to the Chris Sailer Kicking Class of 2017 punters rankings, Day ranks second in the nation. He currently is undecided on a college choice.
