The City of Brentwood has officially canceled its annual Easter egg hunt at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library due to weather concerns.

Easter-themed activities will still be held inside the children’s library, the library’s Community Relations Coordinator Brittany Chaudhari said. Those activities will start at 2 p.m.

In the Children’s Library, kids will still be able to enjoy such things as face painting, a contest to guess how many jelly beans are in a jar and a photo opportunity with the Easter bunny.

Chaudhari said parents should be sure to bring their own cameras for the Easter bunny photos as the library will not have a photographer on hand to do so.

A limited quantity of special prize baskets will also be handed out inside the library.
