On Tuesday morning, someone ordered something at a fast food restaurant on Wilson Pike and then walked away without paying.
The diner probably should have run instead of walked, because they were later arrested by the Brentwood Police Department.
The Brentwood Police Department reported seven cases of general theft, one case of vandalism, six thefts from cars and a stolen motorcycle in its weekly crime analysis.
The motorcycle was stolen on Saturday. The owner of the motorcycle put it up for sale and someone paid with a fake check. Police also suspect that someone broke the window of a car parked at a church on Franklin Road.
The car thefts happened at a church on Franklin Road, a shopping center near the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Franklin Road, a shopping center near Moores Lane and Interstate 65, Crockett Park, the Brentwood YMCA and Smith Park.
Police also reported arresting two people suspected of shoplifting from a store on Franklin Road.
