Police suspect an ex-boyfriend slashed the tires of the person now dating his previous girlfriend.

Otherwise, there were few crimes in Brentwood last week. The Brentwood Police Department only reported seven suspected crimes in it’s weekly crime analysis.

Three people in a white Nissan sedan and a Honda SUV are suspected of breaking into three vehicles at the Maryland Farms YMCA. The suspects reportedly took a tote bag, a phone and money.

Another driver reported that some tools were stolen from a truck at a shopping center near Cool Springs.

Police also reported that two people were victims of phone scams. The scammers stole money using prepaid cards.
