CRIME REPORT: Lexus missing from Cool Springs dealership

By RACHAEL LONG

Spring is in the air but crime, apparently, is not.

Only three incidents were reported this week by the Brentwood Police Department, one of which took place in February.

A woman’s wallet and contents were taken from her shopping cart at the Dollar General store on Galleria Boulevard on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 28. Police have no suspects, as this was a delayed report.

On March 21, someone returned stolen products to the TJ Maxx on Franklin Road for a refund. Police say suspects have been identified and charges are pending.

Finally, the Lexus of Cool Springs dealership noticed something wasn’t quite right this week when they discovered a vehicle missing from inventory. A 2017 Lexus RX350 was discovered missing after inventory was completed on Wednesday, March 27.

The incident took place some time between March 1 and 27. Police have no suspects.

There were no reports this week of business or residential burglary, theft from motor vehicles, vandalism or robbery.
