CRIME REPORT: Shoplifters steal chainsaws, pressure washers and art

Several people in Brentwood were accused of stealing chainsaws, a pressure washer and some art work from various stores around the city.

Brentwood police arrested the person accused of stealing artwork from a store on Franklin Road. The people who stole the chainsaws and a pressure washer have not been caught.

Someone else was accused of stealing groceries from someone’s shopping cart in a parking lot  near Carothers Parkway and Moores Lane.

The Brentwood Police Department didn’t report any robberies, vandalism or burglaries this week.

Someone stole a car from a parking lot near Moores Land and Mallory Lane on Friday afternoon, but police have identified a suspect and recovered the car.

Police also reported four thefts from cars last week. In three cases the thieves had to break windows to get into the car.
