CRIME REPORT: Stolen vehicle, mysterious footsteps headline this week’s crime report

This week’s crime report issued by the Brentwood Police Department includes a stolen vehicle, mysterious footsteps and stolen jewelry.

On Oct. 5 a woman reported the rear door of her home being opened with footsteps heard, but nothing was taken and no one was found. Police have no suspects.

Sometime between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, a 2016 Toyota Corolla was stolen from Centerview Drive. An acquaintance of the victim took the vehicle and other items without permission. The suspect was identified and charges are pending.

Jewelry was stolen from a vehicle parked on Seaboard Lane on Sept. 19. There were no signs of forced entry and police have no suspects.

A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle on Heritage Way on Sept. 30. The rear drivers side window was broken, but police have no suspects.

On Sept. 30 on Brindlewood Lane, a weed eater and two trimmers were stolen from Middle Tennessee Lawn Care out of an open box in a truck. Police suspect two unknown males that drove a silver SUV.

On Oct. 3 a vehicle on Cadillac Drive was scratched with a sharp object. Police have no suspects.

A weed eater and blower were taken from the exterior of a home near the garage on Davis Drive on Oct. 2. Police have no suspects.

An iPhone was taken from a shopping cart while the victim shopped at a store on Moores Lane on Oct. 4. Police have no suspects.
