A suspected car thief fled from Brentwood police officers earlier this week.

According to the Brentwood Police Department’s weekly crime analysis, two cars were taken from Brentwood subdivisions on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Police spotted two people they suspected of breaking into a car in a subdivision near Owl Creek Park. Police reported that those people fled in a stolen vehicle. The other car was stolen from a subdivision near the intersection of Concord Road and Edmonson Pike.

Police also reported seeing a group of four people suspected of going though a car at a different house in a subdivision near Owl Creek Park on Tuesday night. That group also fled from Brentwood Police Officers.

The department reported that one vehicle was vandalized on Friday morning. There were no residential or business burglaries. Police didn’t report any robberies or general thefts.
