CRIME REPORT: Thefts, jury duty scam top this week’s Brentwood crime report

In this week’s crime report issued by the Brentwood Police Department, several thefts occurred, as well as continued reports of a jury duty scam.

A 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from the street in front of a residence on Cressy Lane on Oct. 29. Police suspect two unknown black males.

Food, drinks and alcohol were stolen from the Shell station on Moores Lane on Oct. 29. The suspects were arrested for shoplifting.

A weed eater and two blowers were stolen from a landscaping trailer on Heathrow Hills Drive on Oct. 29. Police have no suspects.

A woman fell victim to a jury duty phone scam on Oct. 31 when currency was stolen from a prepaid money card. Police have no suspects.

Money was stolen from multiple desks and lockers in an office area of a business on Mallory Lane sometime between Oct. 1 and Nov. 1. The suspect has been identified but there is no prosecution at this time.

Alcohol was shoplifted from the Kroger on Franklin Road on Nov. 2. Police suspect a Hispanic male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and khakis who fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
