Two cars were stolen last week in Brentwood. Police recovered both vehicles within a few days.
One SUV was stolen on September 2 from the driveway of a home near the intersection of Murray Lane and Franklin Road. A sedan was stolen on the night of September 3 from a hotel on Moores Lane.
The SUV was recovered abandoned nearby the day after the theft. Metro Nashville Police Department found the sedan abandoned on September 6.
Police didn’t arrest anyone suspected of stealing the cars.
The Brentwood Police department reported in its weekly crime analysis that there were four thefts from cars over the last week. Cars were broken into at Owl Creek Park, Crocket Park, a preschool and an office building.
Police also report that someone scratched a car with a sharp object. One person suspected of stealing fragrances and clothes from a store on Franklin road was arrested.
There were no business burglaries, residential burglaries or robberies.
The Brentwood Police also arrested four people for trespassing and drug possession near the Williamsburg Subdivision last Friday. One of the suspects was carrying a BB gun and police weren’t immediately aware that it was a BB gun.
