Early voting for Brentwood City Commission begins Wednesday

With two public candidate forums and weeks of campaigning under their belts, the nine candidates for Brentwood City Commission will finally start to see voters head to the polls tomorrow when early voting begins in Brentwood.

According to Williamson County Election Commission voting records, early voting has historically been important to the outcome of the election. In 2017, nearly 68 percent of the 3,836 ballots cast were recorded during early voting. Early voting accounted for 67 percent of the 2015 vote, and nearly 70 percent of the total ballots cast in 2013.

The current voter precinct map is created and provided by the Williamson County Election Commission office.

Early voting takes place April 17 to May 2 at all locations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also cast a ballot on Saturdays at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library or the Election Commission office in Franklin from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Polling locations will be closed April 19 to observe Good Friday. Brentwood area locations for early voting are the John P. Holt Brentwood Library at 8109 Concord Road and Brentwood City Hall at 5211 Maryland Way. Voters can also cast their ballots at the Election Commission office at 1320 West Main Street in Franklin.
