Ebenezer United Methodist Church, which celebrated 150 years of service to the community on Easter Sunday this past spring, will welcome the community once again to a pancake breakfast and raffle from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29 at the church, 101 King Street, Nolensville.
The breakfast is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, milk, juice and coffee.
The breakfast is sponsored by the Homecoming Committee in celebration of 150 years in the community.
Ebenezer United Methodist Church traces its history to April 21, 1869, when the land it sits on was purchased with the provision that an African American church be built there. Its name changed from Nolensville Methodist Church to Ebenezer United Methodist Church in the 1960s.
