The building last home to O’Charley’s just yards from the northern city limits of Brentwood seemingly is slated for a Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant.
According to a Metro Nashville document, Chuy’s has a lease arrangement with the owners of the building, which is located at 100 E. Park Drive in Maryland Farms.
When contacted, a Chuy’s spokeswoman said the company is scouting Brentwood for a site but declined to disclose if the ex-O’Charley’s building will be the home of what would be the second Chuy’s in Williamson County.
In the Nashville area, Chuy’s operates in Midtown, Opry Mills, Franklin (Mallory Lane) and Murfreesboro. The Austin-based chain was founded in 1982 and now owns more than 100 restaurants in 18 states.
O’Charley’s, the parent company of which is Nashville-based American Blue Ribbon Holdings, closed the Brentwood-area restaurant in November 2018. Shortly prior to that, an O’Charley’s in Spring Hill closed.
During the past few years, American Blue Ribbon has closed multiple O’Charley’s nationwide in order to improve profitability.
