After days of cloudy, gray skies, the sun finally broke through this weekend, and will continue shining throughout most of the week in Williamson County.

Though it’s likely rainstorms will continue to punctuate the spring season, National Weather Service meteorologist Scott Unger said this week will be clear with highs in the low to mid 80s until Friday.

Showers and potential thunderstorms will move in on Friday in the mid to late morning, though “it’s not going to be a soaker, by any stretch,” Unger said.

Models are foggy on how long the rain might last, but it should clear up by Sunday, with temperatures remaining in the 70s.
