If you have children and want to know more about car seat laws, you can visit the Brentwood Library in just a few days for an informational session by Brentwood firefighters.
Firefighters will be on hand at the library on Thursday, Nov. 17, to talk about car seat safety, correct installation, rules and laws that have changed for car seats and forward facing vs. backwards facing seats. They will also go over laws about children sitting in the front seat.
In addition, parents, grandparents and caregivers can make an appointment to have their seats checked at the fire station. A big red truck will be out front and Ms. Pat from the library will be reading a book or two with the little ones.
The program is free to attend and doesn’t require registration, however, it is dependent on the firefighter’s call schedule.
The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to noon in Meeting Room B of the Brentwood Library, located at 8109 Concord Road.
