FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Page, BA, BGA, CPA, Summit, FRA all get Week 7 wins

Page vs. Lincoln Co. 

Page improved to 6-1 on the season in an overtime victory over district rival Lincoln Co., 28-21.

QB Cade Walker found Mitchell Turner in free football to seal the victory.

Three-way player Michael Burdick ran back a kickoff for touchdown to give the Patriots their first score.

A Jackson Satterfield run and Walker scramble gave Page its other tallies.

They’ll host White Co. next Friday.

Summit vs. Franklin Co. 

Summit rebounded against Franklin Co. Friday night, 27-7.

Running back Tre Hunter rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, with RB George Odimegwu adding 82 yards on the ground and 27 in the air. QB Destin Wade rushed in a touchdown, too.

The Spartans (4-3) will see 5-1 Shelbyville Central at home next week.

BGA vs. Whites Creek

QB Nick Semptimphelter threw for four touchdowns in Battle Ground Academy’s 45-8 road win over Whites Creek.

Tiy Reed (70 yards, 2 TDs) and Kaleb Seay (65 yards, 2 TDs) helped pace the Wildcats’ attack.

BGA will host Glencliff next week for Homecoming.

Brentwood Academy vs. Baylor 

Brentwood Academy continued its win streak against district foe Baylor on the road in Chattanooga Friday, 35-7.

QB Wade Williams threw for two touchdowns and ran two in on the night, and running back Jordan James had a touchdown to go along with 118 yards rushing. RB Tomario Pleasant led the team in rushes with 159 yards.

Tahir Anoor and Jack Victory hauled in the two Williams touchdown throws.

The Eagles (7-0) will take on McCallie at home next Friday.

CPA vs. Lipscomb Academy

The CPA Lions remain perfect on the season after taking down Lipscomb Academy on the road Friday, 48-21.

Running back Sam West ran for 136 yards and a touchdown, while Kane Patterson had 104 yards and two touchdowns and Andrew Madden 87 yards and two touchdowns. QB Ryan Eledge threw for 98 yards and a touchdown to Brett Nabors.

The Lions will host Independence next week.

FRA vs. Goodpasture 

Franklin Road Academy took down rival Goodpasture Friday night, 45-7.

They’ll take on Columbia Academy at home next Friday.

Nolensville vs. Tullahoma 

Despite a late comeback attempt, the Nolensville Knights dropped one to Tullahoma, 30-20

RB Colton Dooley had three touchdowns in the loss.

The Knights (4-3) will host Lincoln Co. next week.

Spring Hill vs. Maplewood

Spring Hill got shut out by district foe Maplewood 42-0 Friday.

The Raiders (0-7) will get a week off before hosting Marshall Co. Oct 12.

GCA vs. Moore County

Grace Christian Academy remains winless on the year in Friday’s loss to Moore County, 67-21.

The Lions (0-6) head to Huntland next week.
