FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Ravenwood, Nolensville, FRA, Fairview all get wins, BA falls

Below are select scores from this week’s WillCo football action. 

Nolensville 13, Tullahoma 7

The Nolensville Knights improved to a perfect 6-0 against Tullahoma Friday night.

A Tim Coutras pick sealed the deal for the Knights late in the fourth.

Ryan Pistulka rushed in the team’s lone touchdown of the night in the first half, and kicker Luke Jenkins nailed two field goals, including one in the second half.

The undefeated team faces Glencliff at home next week.

FRA 48, Goodpasture 13

Quarterback Sean Casey had a major night in Franklin Road Academy’s big win against Goodpasture.

He threw for 145 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 183 yards and another score.

Running back Jeffrey Vercher added 134 on the ground and a touchdown.

The 6-1 Panthers now turn their attention to a road bout with BGA next week.

Ravenwood 70, Dickson Co. 6

QB Bryan Garcia had three touchdowns before the first quarter was over, with Ravenwood trouncing host Dickson Co. to get another Region 6-6A win.

They held a 64-0 lead at halftime, with the clock run rule setting in for the second half of play.

Ravenwood faces resurgent CPA on the road next week.

Knoxville Catholic 42, Brentwood Academy 37 (Thursday) 

Brentwood Academy saw its 17-14 lead at halftime fall to Knoxville Catholic on the road Thursday.

QB Tayler Montiel still threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns in the loss, and RB Jordan James rushed for 130 yards and a score.

They face their big rival next week in MBA on the road.

Ensworth 42, Father Ryan 7

Friendship Christian 55, GCA 7

Maplewood 26, Spring Hill 18
