The Friends of the Fairview Public Library have devised a new slogan: “Fill a Bag for $Five.”
The Friends are proposing a gigantic reduction in their book inventory, which will result in savings for the shoppers at their next semi-annual used book sale to be held August 23 thru August 25 at the Fairview Recreation Center, 2714 Fairview Blvd.
The Fairview Public Library Semi-Annual Book Sale features titles in fiction and nonfiction, paperbacks and hardbacks from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018; from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018.
Come early for the best selection.
All materials are donated by the community and offered at a deep discount.
Due to the anticipated renovations at the Fairview Recreation Center, the Friends of the Fairview Library have limited available book storage. This has resulted in the drastic reduction sale and restrictions in future book donations.
Currently, the Friends are only able to accept hardback fiction and non-fiction, all children’s books, and audio books. Donations of books from the Fairview community continue to be gratefully accepted at the Fairview Branch of the Williamson County Public Library, 2240 Fairview Blvd.
The Friends of the Fairview Library are also seeking new members. The book sale and other fundraising events are big projects, requiring strong, cooperative, enthusiastic, and eager volunteers. Annual dues are only $10.
As always, all net proceeds from sales directly benefit the Fairview Branch of the Williamson County Library.
