STAFF REPORT

There’s nothing worse than leaving the house on a holiday only to find your destination closed. Save a trip on July 4 — here’s a look at the public spaces across Williamson County that will be closed for Independence Day. 

Brentwood

City Hall: Closed all day 

John P. Holt Brentwood Library: Closed all day

Maryland Farms YMCA: Open from noon to 5 p.m.

Brentwood Family YMCA: Open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Indoor Sports Complex, Brentwood: Closed all day

Brentwood Farmers Market: Closed 

Franklin

City Hall: Closed all day

Williamson County Public Library, Franklin: Closed all day

Franklin Family YMCA: Open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Franklin Recreation Complex: Facility closed, however the outdoor pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting

Note: CASH ONLY will be accepted at the outdoor pool on July 4, as staff will be unable to process credit cards with the facility closed. 

Franklin Transit Authority: No fixed route transit or TODD Service. All transit services will resume on the morning of Friday, July 5. 

There will be no trash pickup or recycling for Franklin on July 4 or 5. 

Nolensville

Town Hall: Closed all day, will reopen July 5 at 8 a.m.

Williamson County Public Library, Nolensville branch: Closed all day

Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville: Facility closed, however the outdoor pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting

Note: CASH ONLY will be accepted at the outdoor pool on July 4, as staff will be unable to process credit cards with the facility closed. 

Spring Hill

City Hall: Closed all day

Spring Hill Public Library: Closed all day

Police Administrative Offices: Closed all day

Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill: Facility closed, however the outdoor pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting

Note: CASH ONLY will be accepted at the outdoor pool on July 4, as staff will be unable to process credit cards with the facility closed. 

Waste Management will not pick up garbage and recycling on July 4. All waste collection routes in Spring Hill will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. If your trash or recycling collection route falls on Thursday, it will be picked up Friday instead. If it falls on Friday, it will be Saturday.
