Incumbent Ken Travis returns petition for city commissioner’s race

By RACHAEL LONG

Brentwood city commissioner Ken Travis returned his completed petition to run for re-election to the Board of Commissioners Monday morning.

Travis is one of a handful of candidates who have picked up petitions with intentions to run for one of the commission’s four open seats.

His experience working with the city’s budget, Travis says, will serve the Brentwood residents as the commission begins to implement a working budget.

“Having gone through this process of the past four years, I am truly prepared to make financial decisions for the city,” Travis said.

Travis is one of two incumbents running for re-election — long-time commissioner and former Mayor Anne Dunn being the other — and more on his bid for re-election can be found here.

The Brentwood Municipal Election will take place on May 7.
