A former Brentwood mayor is being honored on Friday, Jan. 11 with the dedication and name change of Crockett Park’s indoor soccer field. In just a few days, it will be known as “Joe Reagan Field.”

Joe Reagan recently told Brentwood Home Page of his surprise by the honor. He had no idea the name change was happening.

“I was extremely honored,” Reagan said. “I appreciate the County Commission doing this in my name.”

Reagan served 18 years on the Brentwood City Commission from 1993 and 2011. Since he left the commission, he now lives at the Heritage at Brentwood and remembers his time in council fondly.

Crockett Park is located at 1500 Volunteer Parkway. The dedication will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
