Williamson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney will join School Board members for Let’s Talk School community meetings this coming week to discuss the school calendar, rezoning timelines and growth planning.
The first of two Let’s Talk School meetings will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Brentwood High School. The second will take place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, at Independence High School.
These community meetings are designed for parents, students and community members to meet with Looney and with board members, ask questions and learn more about the operations and progress of the district.
The topics to be discussed will include the 2017-18 school year calendar, growth planning and a timeline for rezoning. For those who can’t make it to the Nov. 1 meeting, WCS will broadcast Looney’s presentation live on the district’s Facebook page.
