May 4 Home staging workshop features advice of HGTV’s Kim Pearse

Home sellers can see HGTV Home Stager Kim Pearse in person at her Home Sellers Workshop Saturday, May 4, at Churchill Mortgage on Old Hickory Boulevard just north of Brentwood.

“I believe all homes can stand out and make a measurable difference. I transform homes from bland to ‘Wow! That’s the home we want!’ I’ve seen houses that have been on the market for months be sold in just a few days thanks to staging,” Pearse says.

Pearse says there is one big, important thing that all home sellers must have in order to sell.

“Owners do a lot to prepare a house to sell, like painting, cleaning, and organizing,” she said in a press release announcing the event. “But there’s one thing that is the most important of all. I’ll talk about the ‘one important thing’ at the workshop.”

“The staging strategies and benefits Kim shares are so valuable,” says Shannon Hickman. As a Realtor®, I see the results of staged homes. The photos of a staged home, the first impression of a home, can make a home look like the very place a buyer wants to live. Home staging is a powerful tool we hope all sellers use to help their home sell quickly at a price that will make them happy.”

“Staging is a proven strategy,” says Trena Cook, Realtor® with Georgia Evans Realty. “There is power in staging. We’re glad Kim is willing to share her staging knowledge with people who want great results when they list their house.”

Pearse also offers staging feedback for participants during the workshop. “If you’re getting ready to sell your home, and you’re stuck on how to prepare a particular room in your house, just e-mail me some photos of the room before the workshop. We’ll come up with solutions to make that room totally desirable to home buyers.”
