Jeff McGruder, formerly a business service officer for Branch Bank & Trust (BB&T) in Franklin, has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners in Brentwood.
Jeff McGruder has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a senior vice president and financial advisor at the firm’s Brentwood office.
McGruder is a 14-year banking veteran who was most recently a business service officer for Branch Bank & Trust (BB&T) in Franklin. Previously he spent nine years with Regions Bank, where roles included serving as a business banking sales manager for southern Middle Tennessee, commercial underwriter and relationship manager.
“Pinnacle concentrates on delivering distinctive service and effective advice to business owners, which is precisely what Jeff has a track record of doing,” said Larry Whisenant, manager of Pinnacle’s client services in Nashville. “With his experience, Jeff will help us continue to meet the needs of small business owners.”
McGruder earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and his master’s degree in business administration from Trevecca Nazarene University.
He serves on the boards of Kipp Academy, headquartered in East Nashville, and the advisory board for the C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center in North Nashville. McGruder is a past board member of New Hope Academy and Williamson County Boys and Girls Club, where he also served as board treasurer. He is a member of the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Franklin. McGruder also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, Nashville Celtics and Junior Achievement.
