Brentwood is gearing up for its first Movie in the Park of the season and its series of outdoor concerts on Memorial Day weekend.
The movie night and the concerts will take place at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater in Crocket Park.
The city is showing Disney’s “Coco” at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25. Food trucks serving pizza, ice cream and shaved ice will arrive at the park at 6 p.m. Local Latin artist Alison Brazil will perform live music to the movie.
The summer concert series starts on Sunday, May 27 at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater at 7 p.m. The first band will be Rubik’s Groove, which plays 80s and 90s dance music. There are concerts every Sunday in June, as well as July 4 and August 5.
Every concert begins early with food trucks at 5 p.m. and live music starts at 7 p.m. Admission to the concerts is free. In the event of inclement weather, check the City of Brentwood’s social media pages for updates.

- May 27 — Rubik’s Groove
- June 3 — The WannaBeatles
- June 10 — 12 South
- June 17 — The South Street Players
- June 24 — Dangerous Dan and the Funk Town Horns
- July 4 — The Kadillacs (Fireworks at 9 p.m.)
- August 5 — Nashville Yacht Club
Nearly 20,00 people attend the concerts each year. Rubik’s Groove, The South Street Players, The WannaBeatles and the Kadillacs have all played the concert series in previous years. The Nashville Symphony will not perform this year.
