Night for Hope Silent Auction goes live tonight; event for Community Outreach Ministries is Friday

The Community Outreach Ministries Night For Hope is Friday at Brentwood Country Club, but the silent auction goes live at 7 p.m. tonight.

The silent auction includes such items as:

  • Rodan + Fields, Botox, and Professional Skin Care Treatments
  • Tickets for Sabres vs Preds
  • Acoustic Guitar
  • Rare & Collectible Spirits

Community Outreach Ministries is an organization with a number of services, including providing chaplains and support for the 310 employees of the Williamson County Sheriff and their family members, and other first responders. The organization also is on call 24-hours a day to respond to respond regularly to accidents, suicides, shootings, domestic struggles, and various other incidents where the officers and citizens involved can benefit from their presence and the support. COM also delivers death notifications throughout the county.

Community Outreach Ministries helps train more than 300 volunteers every year who visit, provide spiritual counsel, conduct classes and worship services, and minister in other ways jail inmates, as well as supporting all other ministries that go on in the jail.

Volunteers spend time on Saturdays ministering to the families of inmates as they wait, often for long periods of time, to visit their loved ones behind bars, offering drinks and snacks, coloring books for kids, counseling and information.

The group also has a ministry supporting those who care for elderly and disabled persons, and a ministry supporting high school coaches and athletes, and encouraging community service.

Tickets are still on sale for the Night of Hope, which is 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brentwood Country Club, 5123 Country Club Drive, Brentwood TN 37027. Tickets are $100 per person and are AVAILABLE HERE.
