Wilma Jean Kinnard (nee Dodds), 88, died peacefully in her apartment at Meramec Bluffs in Ballwin, Missouri, on September 26, 2018.
She is survived by her daughters Linda (Bruce) Ryder and Sarah (Starling) Evins, her daughter-in-law Linda Heath Kinnard, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W. Cannon Kinnard, and her son David Kinnard.
Jean retired in 1990 after teaching at Selvidge Junior High School for 20 years. She was a beloved friend to many. She enjoyed music and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, at the chapel at Meramac Bluffs, 1 Meramac Bluffs Drive, Ballwin, Missouri 63021.
A visitation will be held at the chapel an hour before the service. The interment will be private, next to her husband at Mount Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, www.habitat.org, or the Circle of Concern Food Pantry, www.circleofconcern.org.
