On monuments and a moment in time

Good morning Brentwood!

I’m sitting at brother John’s Yorktown, Va. home, recuperating from the Ukrops Monument Ave. 10K in Richmond (I finished! And not last!), a full weekend with family and more family, two birthdays and more food than anyone needs to consume in a lifetime.

I am happy to report that with the exception of two small pieces of birthday cake (one for Mom, one for 1-year-old great niece Riley), I stayed true to my Be Healthy Challenge mandates.

Wanted to at least have an update today, and will be back with a full BrentWord ASAP. In the meantime, hope all of you who are on Spring Break have reached your destinations safely. While I encourage all of you to sign off, hang up and otherwise disconnect from the world for a week, remember that when you do need to know what’s going on at home, BHP is available 24/7 from wherever you are.

Send us spring break photos if you want, with IDs and locations. If we get enough we’ll make a photo gallery!
