Pilgrimage Festival seeking volunteers, offering free tickets as incentive

STAFF REPORTS

The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival scheduled for Sept. 21-22 will once again offer free admission to fest volunteers, and officials are now accepting applications through its website.

The fifth annual festival, headlined by Foo Fighters, The Killers and Keith Urban, will be held at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin.

Those interested in volunteering are asked to commit to a minimum of 10 hours during the festival weekend, with some positions available pre- or post-festival. In return, volunteers receive a free ticket (valued at $210) to Pilgrimage. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

“The festival can’t operate without our great volunteers,” said Brandt Wood, Pilgrimage Festival co-founder. “We have a variety of volunteer roles available that provide a fun, behind-the-scenes look at our event plus the opportunity to enjoy all the festival has to offer.”

Esquire declared that Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival “has made a huge name for itself since its 2015 debut, focusing on honing a lineup that perfectly balances the booze-rock sound of its region.”

In addition to the headline acts, Pilgrimage will include performances from Leon Bridges, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Head and the Heart, +LIVE+, Jenny Lewis, Lauren Daigle and more. For more information on the festival, visit www.pilgrimagefestival.com.
