Brentwood High School students are in for a treat May 2, when the school will once again host a food truck rally on school grounds.

The Brentwood Planning Commission recently approved the plans, which will include roughly 14 food trucks set up in the “senior” parking lot. City code requires approval by the planning commission for any food truck rally with more than ten vendors participating.

The commission has approved this type of event for Brentwood High School several times over the last few years, most recently including a fall 2018 food truck rally in celebration of Homecoming.

Student vehicles will remain parked in the lot while the food trucks are on-site. The trucks will park on the west side of the lot in the traffic lane nearest to the cars, with the lane nearest to the school open as a fire lane.

The May food truck rally event is only open to students and not to the public.
