Ravenwood scholar will compete in October for Miss Tennessee Teen USA title

Brooklyn Tippett, 16, of Brentwood, Tennessee will compete for the title of MISS TENNESSEE TEEN USA 2019 on October 11-13, 2018 at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville.

Brooklyn is the daughter of Tim and Monica Tippett and the twin sister of Tyler Tippett. She is a Junior at Ravenwood High School, where she is a straight-A student, vice president of the French Honors Society, and a member of several student organizations, including Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Best Buddies and the Adventure Club. She was a recipient of the Presidents Honor Roll and Academic Athlete awards in both 2017 and 2018. Also, in 2017, she was named Outstanding French II Honors Student.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball with both her school and Alliance Volleyball Club.

She is a member of Brentwood Baptist Church, where she is a student leader. This past summer, she helped lead Vacation Bible School and a local middle school mission trip, and then traveled to Chicago for a week-long high school student mission trip.

Her long term goals are to become a nurse, help people in need and to travel the world. She dreams of becoming a missionary nurse so that she can fulfill all her goals.

The MISS TENNESSEE TEEN USA® and MISS TENNESSEE USA® pageants are the Official Preliminaries to the MISS TEEN USA®, MISS USA® and MISS UNIVERSE® pageants and are a WME/IMG joint venture. The young woman chosen as MISS TENNESSEE TEEN USA® will go on to represent the state of Tennessee in the 2019 MISS TEEN USA® pageant.
